Welcome to Skills Shala Foundation

Our Goal & Vision

Skills Shala Foundation has envisioned, encountering various significant issues of the society. Today, the cost of educating and training a child is extremely high, bearing medical bills for a very low-income group gives horrification, fighting for justice in courts requires heavy roving and a deviating work and lacks proper advice and many such issues that our society encounters.
Skills Shala Foundation was born in 2019 as a platform to give children the tools and techniques to identify their talents and gifts and develop essential capabilities and life skills.
Skills Shala Foundation’s ‘Sahyog Program’ offers participation from Training Institutes, Doctors, Educators, Lawyers, Shopkeepers to sponsor 5 people a year, their consultancies, training, goods of daily necessities. Skills Shala Foundation appeals entrepreneurs, skill development institutions, pharmacists, advocates and many other eminent people from different sectors to become ‘Sahyog program’ partner.

Skills Shala offers the following programmes:
Workshop

Masterclass

Full-day workshop facilitated by an expert/influencer to enable the enhancement of various skills. We are currently partnering with organisations to deliver these masterclasses under a co-branded label.

Course

Short Term Courses

We design and customize these programs according to the unique needs of a particular school or group, and work with students to develop their socio-emotional, linguistic, and overall communication skills to improve their access to higher education and employment opportunities.

Training

Train The Trainer

Customised curriculum and content to enhance the English language teaching methodology of volunteers. After undergoing this training for three months, these volunteers, in turn, deliver a 120-hour course to learners. We are currently developing and deploying a customized ‘English for Employability’ course with curriculum, content, and learning materials for students.

Menstruation

Period Pratha

"The Period Pratha" is an initiative for propagating awareness on Menstruation. Our module focus on covering all issues on menstrual hygiene, a life beyond the clutches of myths and taboos.

Donate Time

Gyan Daan

A unique program where we urge volunteers to donate time school students and help them in learning. The program helps children to learn new things, techniques that eventually accelerates their learning.

Mohan Wadhwa

Mohan Wadhwa, based in Raipur, is a committed professional who blends his expertise in pharmacy with a growing passion for fitness. Raised in Byron Bazar and later moving to Civil Lines, Mohan’s early life was deeply connected to his family's pharmacy business. After completing his schooling at Holy Cross in Byron Bazar, he pursued a Diploma in Pharmacy (2007) and a DCA (2001), setting the stage for his career in healthcare.

Fitness Expert

Dr. Neha Wadhwa

Dr. Neha Wadhwa is a renowned fitness consultant and a seasoned expert in diet and lifestyle modifications. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role at Fit Physique, a subsidiary of Krishaml, specialising in crafting personalised nutrition plans that cater to various health needs. Dr. Wadhwa is supporting Skills Shala Foundation as a dietician and nutritional expert to fight malnutrition in children.

Phd In English

Dr. NEHA B PUROHIT

Phd In English Literature from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Having passion & commitment to teaching and a willingness to fully engage in the cultural life of the school. She has been training and teaching school students for the past 12 years.

She has presented several research papers at many Indian Universities; such as- Elements of Spirituality and Mysticism in William Dalrymple's Nine Lives : In Search Of the Sacred in Modern India” in 4th IACLSC Biennial International Conference & Exhibition Religion.
